Our moving services include loading, transportation, unloading, and the assembly and disassembly of furniture when necessary. All services are provided based on the specific needs outlined by the customer at the time of booking.
To secure a moving date, customers must book in advance. A deposit may be required at the time of booking, with the balance due upon completion of the move. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, cash, or other methods accepted by Crescent City Movers. Payment must be made before unloading your belongings at your new location.
If you wish to cancel or reschedule your move, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled moving date. Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours may result in a cancellation fee.
Customers must ensure that the following conditions are met for a successful move:
Accessibility: Ensure the moving team has clear access to both the pick-up and delivery locations. If there are any obstacles such as stairs, narrow hallways, or other hindrances that could affect the move, please inform us ahead of time.
Inventory of Items: Provide a list of items to be moved, especially large or specialty items. This helps us assess the proper equipment and resources needed to ensure safe handling during transport.
Packing: If you choose not to use our packing services, ensure that all items are packed securely and appropriately before the moving date. We are not responsible for damage to items not packed by our team.
Valuables and Fragile Items: For high-value or fragile items, customers should inform us beforehand. We may recommend additional packing or special handling procedures for these items. Customers are responsible for insuring valuable items if they wish to ensure full coverage for any potential loss or damage.
Crescent City Movers provides basic insurance coverage for your move, which is included in your service fee. This coverage is limited and covers a specific value per pound for damaged goods. For more valuable items, we strongly recommend additional insurance or third-party insurance options to provide comprehensive protection. Crescent City Movers is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft beyond the limits of the basic coverage.
While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of your belongings, Crescent City Movers cannot be held liable for damage to items caused by the following:
Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of damaged items up to the extent of the basic insurance coverage.

While we strive to adhere to the scheduled moving times, there may be occasional delays due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, traffic, or vehicle breakdowns. Crescent City Movers is not liable for delays that are beyond our control.
If there are any changes or issues with your move that affect the scheduled time or date, we will notify you as soon as possible. We will work with you to find an acceptable solution, but we cannot guarantee that the original schedule will be maintained.
If there is any damage or issue with your move, please notify us immediately after the completion of your move. All complaints or claims must be made in writing within 48 hours of the completion of your move. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.
We aim to resolve any disputes or claims quickly and fairly. In the case of an unresolved claim, the matter may be referred to a third-party mediator or arbitration service, as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal data collected during the booking process will only be used to facilitate your move and improve our services. We will not share your information with third parties unless necessary to provide the services you have requested or required by law.
Crescent City Movers reserves the right to terminate services if we believe there is any fraudulent activity, unsafe conditions, or a breach of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of termination, any fees incurred for services rendered up until that point will still be due.
Crescent City Movers reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify customers of any changes, and the revised Terms will take effect immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels. It is the customer’s responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which Crescent City Movers operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state.
